Welcome to First Year Entrepreneurship Class!!
This course will explore and enhance a student’s understanding of operating a small business. Entrepreneurship will be studied utilizing business concepts, English Language Arts, mathematics, technology, and leadership. A student has the ability to earn 12th grade English Language Arts credit by enrolling in this course.
- ANR at the Career-Tech Center includes plant science, horticulture, and natural resources based on the Diversified Horticulture segments.
Thematic Algegbra II course with emphasis on application of Electrical Occupations, Construction, Skilled Trades, and Drafting and Design.
- Online component of the Algebra 2 course for 2010 - 11 in Construction, Electrical Occupations, Mfg. Technology, and Skilled Trades.

Allied Health 1a
This course is designed as an introduction to the skills and the knowledge necessary to be sucessful in one of the variety of professions within health care.

Here are a series of student made web pages. Students selected a commonly overlooked health hazard, researched the topic, and then created a web page with linked documentation. The topics range from bottled water and food to cosmetics and tattoos.

- 12th grade English Language Arts integrated into the Public Safety/Protective Services curriculum.
The Public Safety/Protective Services program is a two-year program designed to provide students with a broad base of practical experience, content knowledge, and related instruction for careers within the scope of public safety including law enforcement, fire fighting, and EMT. Students are involved in hands on training and field exercises, as well as opportunities to learn first hand from those who work the front lines.

The Skilled Trades program is a hands on program designed to develop skills in a wide variety of trade areas. Students will gain knowlege and experience in woodworking, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, drywall, painting, ceramic tile installation, sheet metal, welding, and basic construction. Learning takes place using a combination of projects, demonstrations, lectures and assignments to give students the confidence and skills to progress to a variety of employment areas.- The mission of the TBA CTC Student Council is to provide students from each class (AM and PM) with representation to a student organization designed to improve our school climate. Class representative and alternates will learn leadership skills and encourage student involvement in student council projects. Projects will include school "spirit" activies and community service projects.
- The intent of this Moodle is to offer CTC teachers some support and suggestions for reaching, and teaching, all levels of students. Nearly 1/3rd of the CTC student population receives special education services. This can present a challenge for teachers as they deliver new, and often highly technical information.
- We start at the beginning - HTML coding - and create dynamic web sites. You build on them as each new technique or concept is learned, and building your own personal web site is part of your learning. This class can be taken for one or two semesters or until you have earned the amount of credits you are working towards. A breakdown of modules completed/credits earned will be discussed with you upon enrollment. A total of 3.0 credits is available if you meet the requirements.
Welcome to Web Programming & Design!
Through a combination of individual and group assignments, hands-on projects, labs, and job placements, students enrolled in WPD will develop and hone their basic web design and web programming skills and learn the fundamentals of computer networking.
As they advance in their studies, students will work with (X)HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Dynamic HTML (DHTML), and XML. In addition, they will use Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks and Flash CS4 to build and test their web sites.
The WPD curriculum is designed to prepare students for internships, post-secondary study or a career in fields such as Multimedia and Visual Communication, Graphic Arts, or Interactive Media Design.
