Pre-requisite: Computer Literacy and Teacher recommendation

WEB/MEDIA Design is an elective class for the junior or senior who desires to explore  Web and Visual Design basics.  The course is a two part course with first semester focusing on the design, creation, publishing and maintenance of Web pages/sites using  HTML programming and FrontPage 2000 Web creation/editing software. The second semester focuses on creating illustrations, work with digital images, and laying out document pages that include both text and graphics for the web and print industries.  The  Adobe CS3 software suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, is used for second semester.
